Tune Your Cello!
mp3 File format
Guidelines for Tuning Your Cello:
  1. Click on the string name for the sound.
  2. Play your open string, and decide if it is lower (flat) or higher (sharp).
  3. Turn the fine tuner:  Counterclockwise (if sharp), Clockwise (if flat).
  4. Keep turning until pitches match.
  5. If fine tuner will not turn any further see your teacher.  Do not attempt to turn the pegs yourself unless your teacher has taught you how to do this.  It is very easy to break strings using the pegs.
